Student life funding
Dear student, on this page you can find the necessary information on the ongoing competitions of Student Union.
It is possible to participate in three different contests: the competition of small projects, the competition of big projects and the competition of annual grants.
A small project is a project with a budget of less than the limit annually approved by the Board of TUT Student Body. This year, the limit is € 750 and the total of cost of the project may not exceed this amount. It is possible to apply for the grant of the competition of small projects all year round, however, the permanent competition committee that has been formed for the academic year, evaluates the applications twice a semester, i.e. four times a year: in August, October, February, and April.
A big project is a project with a budget of more than the limit annually approved by the Board of TUT Student Body. This year, the limit is € 750 and the total of cost of the project must exceed this amount. The competition of big projects will be announced from 1 December to 15 December in all major information channels of TUT SU; the applications can be submitted for four weeks from the announcement of the contest.
All TUT students and student organisations may participate in the project competitions as long as their activities are apolitical. The activities mentioned in the application must be related to TUT. The grant application is based on the application form of the project competitions of the Student Union.
The annual grant contest enables to apply for a grant in order to cover administrative expenses, fixed assets, and costs meant for the development of members. All apolitical TUT student organisations may participate in the competition, given that they comply with the clauses determined in the document of TUT student organisations. The competition will be announced from 20 September to 1 October in all major communication channels of TUT SU. The applications can be submitted for 4 weeks from the announcement of the contest.
